Hi,

I recently acquired a joompush license and I would like use push notification via php file. I installed joompush cli plugin, but I don't know how to use it. Could you publish any example about this?

Hello,

 
After installing the JoomPush CLI plugin, you will get 'cli_joompush.php' file in your Joomla root's cli folder. You just need to set that file path in your cron job. 
 
For ex. if you want to set cron job for every minute then 
 
*/1 * * * * php PATH-TO-THE-YOUR-JOOMLA-SITE-FOLDER/cli/cli_joompush.php

PATH-TO-THE-YOUR-JOOMLA-SITE-FOLDER = physical path of your httpdoc or public_html folder

Hi!

Thanks for your answer. I set cron job avery minute as yoy recommend me. How should I use it? For example if I need send a push notification from script php, how I call the function to do this task?

Hello,

Actually when you send push notification from JoomPush admin component then it goes into a queue. Cron job function executes that queue as per the time set. 

Have you configured the JoomPush as per the documentation? If you want, we will set up it for you. Just send your Joomla site credentials.

Hi,

I understood, push notifications work fine from JoomPush admin component. My question is I could queue notifications via my own script php, doing the suitable entry in the joompush table

=> yes you can do it but need proper data as per table. What kind of notification do you want to send via custom script? Do you want to integrate JoomPush with any extension or custom code?
