my question is if this component works for edge browser since it has support for notifications.Another question is whether it could be adapted to send notifications when publishing a new post.

Hello Airam,

 

We have not received any update from FCM about the EDGE broswer support. Will do some research, test it on edge and get back to you on this. About sending automated Web Push notifications on publishing a new post, what are you using to publish that post? Is it a joomla article or some extension? Do let me know.
