Hello! Yesterday i purchased the the joompush! I have installed it in an intranet joomla 3.8.1 environment and although i configured the firebase settings into the configuration, i can't see the the asking tab for accepting the notifications of the site. I have already enabled the plugin.

Waiting for help...

Thank you in advance!

Hello Larry,

JoomPush is a Web Push notification system which tightly integrates with Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging and needs to be connected to the internet in order to send push notifications.

- All Firebase JS needs internet to load them

- It is mandatory to have SSL certificate to send Web Push Notifications.

That is why we're afraid that none of the Web Push notification systems which require the above things will work on Intranet. Do let us know if you have any more questions.

Warm Regards,

- Team Weppsol

Hello again,

The server which serves the joomla has internet connectivity and self signed certificate. There is nothing that stops the traffic from the internet. The truth is that worked for a pc that connected , but it happened only for that pc and when i deleted it from the subscribers from the  administrator panel and from the browser's allowed notifications sites,it didn't send again the message. Concerning the matter that it works only with ssl, i tried it with non ssl installation of joomla and worked again only once(???).

Is there anything that i can do to make it work?

Thank you in advance!

Hello Larry,

I think you will now have to delete the cookies, clear the cache, remove that particular browser subscriber (from the browser settings where you see the list of sites from which you have allowed the notification) and then try again. If it still doesn't work I would've asked you to share the credentails but lets do a TeamViewer and we shall look into the issue and find out the reason why it is happening. Also, I am turning this forum post into a private post. Waiting for your response...
